Žarko Radjenović enrolled in the Faculty of Economics, University of Niš, in 2008 and graduated from the same faculty in 2012. He enrolled in and completed his master’s degree at the same faculty in 2013. In the same year, he enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics, when he began writing his doctoral dissertation on the topic “Development and implementation of a system to support electronic business operations of healthcare organizations”. He became a Doctor of Economics in 2018. As a teaching assistant in the 2015-2018 academic year, he actively participated in teaching the subject of Informatics. In parallel with his doctoral studies, in 2015, he enrolled in and completed his master’s degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš. He is a member of the Society of Economists of the City of Niš. He is an active participant in scientific conferences and projects both in the country and abroad, and is the author of numerous publications in reference journals and collections of papers. He is fluent in English and has excellent command of German and Italian. Since 2018, he has been employed as a Research Associate at the Innovation Center of the University of Niš, where his research areas include econometrics, applied statistics, business information systems, digitalization in the economy, economics of healthcare organizations, agroeconomics, and circular economy.
