Ana Pejčić was born on January 17, 1992 in Jagodina. She completed elementary school and medical high school in Ćuprija as the holder of the “Vuk Karadžić” diploma and the award for the best student of the generation. At the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Kragujevac, she completed integrated academic studies of pharmacy with an average grade of 9.96 as the best student in the generation in 2015, doctoral academic studies (PhD) in the field of medical sciences (clinical and experimental pharmacology) in 2019 and specialization in the field of clinical pharmacy in 2023, and got the position of Assistant Professor for the narrower scientific field of Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2022.
She has published over 50 scientific and professional papers in scientific journals and a textbook called “Methods of systematization of clinical studies”. She has participated in several national and international congresses as an invited lecturer, author and co-author of presented scientific papers, and at the 34th Congress of the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology in 2021 she received the “European College of Neuropsychopharmacology Excellence Award”. She was the principal investigator of a project funded by the Centre for Scientific Research Work of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the University of Kragujevac. She is an editorial board member of several international scientific journals and has reviewed papers for more than 40 scientific journals.
She does research in the field of clinical pharmacology with a special focus on the efficacy and safety of drugs, drug interactions and adverse drug reactions.
